Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This agreement and its performance shall be governed by the laws of Hawaii. You consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii in all questions and controversies arising out of your use of this site.

Ordering and Payment

Online Orders: We encourage you to place your orders online. You will receive an email confirmation shortly after placing an order. This email will contain the order number, which should be referenced in any future communication with us regarding this order.

Payment Security: Never send payment information, such as credit card numbers, to us via email. We utilize Wix Payments to handle all transactions securely and cannot guarantee the security of personal information sent through unencrypted channels like email.

Credit Card Billing: Your credit card will be billed upon processing of your order.

Order Acceptance Policy: Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The Catholic Chocolate Company reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Shipping and Risk of Loss

Shipping Carrier: Products are shipped exclusively via the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Risk of Loss (Perishable Goods): Once an order has been picked up by the USPS, the risk of loss and damage transfers to the customer. Due to the perishable nature of our chocolate products (bars and bites), orders that are confirmed as shipped or delivered are considered final.

Finality of Shipment/No Refunds: Once shipping has occurred, order cancellations and refunds are not possible.

Prompt Retrieval: Once the order is delivered, the customer assumes full responsibility for the product's integrity. The customer is responsible for tracking their order and ensuring prompt receipt upon delivery and immediate storage in a cool, dry area.
Returns and Damages

Non-Returnable Items: All edible items (chocolate bars and bites) are non-returnable and non-refundable once shipped.

Damaged in Transit: In the event edible items are damaged in transit, please notify us ASAP and no later than 7 days after receipt.

Please photograph any damage when it is discovered.

Damaged product should be retained for inspection.

We will work with you to find a mutually agreeable solution, such as filing a claim with the shipping company and potentially arranging a replacement product at our discretion.

Due to the nature of chocolate and variations in monitors, they may not reflect the exact shape, color, or finish of the product you receive.

Typographical Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in pricing information, The Catholic Chocolate Company shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for such product listed at the incorrect price. Should an order require cancellation after your credit card has already been charged, we will issue a prompt credit to your credit card account in the amount that was originally charged.
